The only thing the nv4500 will do is save you money on trans adapters.
The tcase needs to be sourced from a Dodge, along with all your linkages to get it to work.
Unfortunately the Ford tcases won't fit
unless you source what, an nv271? From a Dodge application. They are basically the same unit's between Ford n Dodge, inputs are different. (Don't quote me, I've done limited research for my Cummins swap)
Trans xmember is close, but some mods are needed to fit.
Good news is, the nv4500 shifter is pretty spot on in the cab!
Do you have a zf5 handy? Believe it or not, it is a much stouter trans, but if the nv4500 is fresh, updated and can get it for a steal, nothing a little welding and a big ol' hammer can't fix!
