Low fuel mileage, ULSD & Timing

Hydrogen generator hybrid IDI?
I know we can all make methane gas at home for free,wives would love us for not sharing it with them..only problem is tube up the :eek: to collect the methane,anyone say ky jelly,,:rotflmao- waynebo

remanufactured PSD info
If its rebuilt by Navistar i would expect it to be a good a new or maybe better because a seasoned block is less likely to have problems and the block has been stress releived from all the hot and cold cycles before it was rebuilt. Now when its bored and rebuilt there will be a lot less...- waynebo

Door Hinge Pins
I have changed a ton of them..use a A-frame or even a big tree branch with a come-along and lift the door with a strap,with the window down..put the strap around the top of the door and it want scratch you paint..Just get the weight neutral and go to work,,piece of cake...wayne- waynebo

Adjust brakes by finding a big parking lot or a stretch of road where you can see way behind you..now back up and hit the brakes,keep doing this until you have a good pedal,,wayne- waynebo

Rear End Squeak - What could it be?
Yea its your brakes,mine do that and i've seen many do it.After about 5 minutes the drum heats up enough your shoes no longer drag and it quits.I would not think it to be a pinion bearing as it would not quit and it would develop into a roar.Check your pinion by grabing the yoke and see if its...- waynebo

Pay/Load Suspension question....?
I have an 84 f-350 dump truck and hauled 5 tons 2 times and 3 tons 2 times in the same day last week,each trip about 20 miles,it was scary and slow but the truck did not seem to mine.- waynebo

Powerstroke turbo
Thats great,my problem is pulling the slight,but yet power draining hills we have in northwest florida,i sometimes wind up in 2nd gear and blowing smoke at 10 mph,even 1st gear sometimes.Its embarassing as hell,people get pissed as all get out when they get stuck behind me.Fuel mileage increase...- waynebo

Powerstroke turbo on idi Anyone put a powerstroke turbo on a 6.9 idi,i have a 1984 f-350 dump truck and need more power to pull my frontend loader and trailer.The engine ain't new by any means but runs well,use a good bit of oil.I bought a power stroke turbo off ebay for $190.00 included...- waynebo

O and the 7.3 powerstrokes,maybe in the vast see of them out there there are sure to be some that have problems,but at the power company i turned wrenches for until i became disabled a few years ago we had probally over 75 powerstroke underground vans and 50 pickups with the engine and never had...- waynebo
