    Heyyy Boyysss

Hahaha didn’t take me long to come back amigos. Figured y'all would be one of the first to know, it didn’t take long for me to grab another rig! Sold my 92 back in October/November and just picked up this 97 PS. Truck was in down right minty condition and the price was good for the current...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Coastie Goat! EM or electricians mate. I need a year of sea time to rank up to E-6 so I’m going on a cutter out of Astoria Oregon. Primary mission of the ship is drug interdiction so hopefully some exciting times and good port calls. It’s a 3 year billet in the CG when on a ship. And thank you...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Today? Today I vacuumed out the truck and have to post it online for sale :/ I have decided to re-enlist and with being on a ship 6 months out the year having the truck just doesn’t make sense. We’ll keep the family SUV and after a few years at sea I think I’ll try and hunt down the dream rig…...

    Selling the rig

Selling Wally my fellow oilburners. I’ve decided to reenlist and unfortunately the truck just doesn’t fit in with the move and new life… If you’re interested send me a PM and we can talk more. 92 F250 turbo. 4x4 auto with E40D. Truck should be in my signature and I have threads on the IDI forum...

So what did you do with your truck today?

I am a firm believer that the N/A trucks with your basic maintenance will never let you down. Drove my across country twice without any problems. First time I did it I bought it sight unseen off craigslist and took it from Alaska to Jersey without any worries!

So what did you do with your truck today?

Yeah that looks like it's kind of tucked away, doesn't even pop up on the map until you zoom in quite a bit. I like those little spots too, State Parks and such are nice every now and then but I prefer to boondock it and have my own little slice of nature as well. Almost end of July, so have fun...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Nice to hear it can be done without disconnecting the wiring. I've decided that is a fall/winter job this year because the driver side door is definitely in need of it.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Sounds like it will be a good time @IDIBRONCO What parts? A buddy of mine just moved back there, finally got himself a house out near the Colorado Springs area. I'm hoping to take the truck out there within the next couple of years and make a little family vacation out of it. Never been to...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Not necessarily a what I did to my truck today thing, but rather, last week. Took ol' Wally to see the pacific coast from the Oregon point of view. I had a lot of work into the truck leading up to the last few minutes before we left, and not an ounce of trouble on the road! New 90cc pump and...

    power steering lines

@Rdnck84_03 just came back from the parts store with one. We did find a pinhole leak in the cooler line too. My old man was being stubborn but he’s warmed up to me helping him out. Pretty sure this is his first truck. Also my old truck :Thumbs Up before I gave it to him the PS was leaking a bit...

    power steering lines

Like so? At first it didn’t seem to fit but I read another post on here suggesting a little warm bath to help the Teflon get passed the threads.

    power steering lines

I saw what looked like the return line leaking. He doesn’t know where the Teflon washer goes and I told him I think it goes on the HP line inside the pump fitting. There’s a little notched seat in there that looks like it sits there and then the line fitting has the o ring on the male end there...

    power steering lines

Attempting to bring this thread back up for some advice. My dad has installed a new ps pump on the 86 6.9. New high pressure line as well. I wasn’t around but he’s getting old man grumpy because it’s still leaking. I came over today and noticed the bag the new stuff came in has a Teflon o ring...

    7.3 IDI

Definitely water pump, oil cooler, and also prep yourself for any after market gauges you may want to install. Getting to some of the plugs on the block can be a real PIA and them plugs sure like to stay out. Would be a lot easier when the engine is out. Sounds like you’ll have a mean truck when...
