2000 LOTS of white/blue smoke?!?! HELP!!

Too much fuel....
Looks like you have some nive stuff on your truck already. Spend a little more money, sounds like you need a little more boost & for it to come on quicker. Might look at Banks Intercooler & a different impeller wheel/ turbo.- stacerbob

Building the "snot" out of a mechanically injected Gen 1
A few recomendations, I am sure there will be more & better ones but... get a P7100 mechanical pump from a 1997-98 manual. I think you have to change the timing cover also if swaping this pump on to a 1st gen motor. I don't know the benefit of using the 24 valve head but there are 24v trucks...- stacerbob

Cab Swap?
& another good thing about the Dodge is the VIN tag is on the dash, so if you swap the cab you can keep the same VIN# easily!!- stacerbob

23 MPG Highway towin' trailer
I know what you mean, guys will come in the shop with their econo car saying I get 35+ MPG in my sardine can, I say Oh thats pretty good, I just get 22 with my 7000# 4wd crew cab dually!!!- stacerbob

Blue smoke and oil smell on start-up
Could it be the low boost fooling set on 5? I'd at least try to turn that down & see what it did, wouldn't cost anything.- stacerbob

Need some schooling on my 06
My buddy tech at the DODGE dealer says to check the oil often to be sure there is no fuel leaking in the oil. Don't let it idle alot either. Friend of mine has an '06 with 6spd, 315 tires with Superchips & it runs real strong for just that. I ordered him the MAGNAFLOW 5" stainless, it fit really...- stacerbob

Another thing, I was doing this for a buddy & his truck is a '94. It says turbo diesel on the fenders. I always thought it was an IDI but it has the injectors & glow plugs under the valve covers (plugs on the gaskets) So I guess its a Powerstroke? It has the filter shroud that says IDI.
