We had lots of LTL's here with Cummins and Cat engines. They had a real good reputation. Still see them around a bit. I've never seen a triaxle one here. Is it a tri drive or does it have a lazy axle?
It would have to be winched out if there was a solid anchor point near by. It may be a write off anyway. Hyundai aren't a real class machine and with water through everything it would be a massive job to clean it out.
I bet the operator died in the guts waiting for the boss to show up.I bogged...
The blade lift rams are hooked to the radiator nose cone so I would not be surprised if the frame was twisted. I would not be surprised if it was good for components and ditch the rest
That must make it around 50 ton then.Thats a lot of weight for that wheel to toss up  My son recently spent 3 months at a mine with a large bucket wheel. He said it was awesome standing out on the end of the boom with a remote control and manouvering the machine from that postion

The ones I've seen from over there the seats on top and they have 5 year old boys as operaters in the sand pit in the back yard :rotflmao LOL
You making firewood out the blue gum or you got a Lucas mill?

Thats off a 250 ton machine and weighs around 18 tonne. It takes around 30 tonnes of ore per scoop.
We have done work on bucket wheel reclaimers and ship loaders http://cms2web.fam.de/english/Products/Stockyard%2520systems/Bucket%2520wheel%2520reclaimers/ and also the hydraulic excavators are...
With Matt talking about Backhoes I thought some of you might like to see this back hoe bucket I line bored last week and fitted the bearings to today. It fits onto a Hitachi EX2500 digger
