why is it smoking
it says 58000 so i would say 158 . it looks to clean to be 258000 but maybe. It doesnt look like anything has been replaced recently exept the alternator and windshield wiper motor. It does have a small fuel leak at the fuel heater but i will put a new o ring in that today- R.w

ok i just picked up a 90 f350 4x4 IDI 5 speed flat bed. The guy said it has been sitting for about 6 months and when he started it up it was smoking (white smoke) so he shut it off and sold it to me for 500 bucks :D. I brought it home and checked for oil in the water and water in the oil but it...- R.w

the cabs are different. The fram widths are different also but with enough time anything is possible- R.w

i blew the trans
i bought the pickup back in feburary and serviced the trans then . The fluid looked fine there was no metal in the pan and fluid was not burnt . I checked it regularly and always seemed fine. When i pulled the dipstick you could smell it BAD . I was worried about it when i got it and figured if...- R.w

OD light flashing
i just picked up a 94 crew cab and my OD light flashes every once in a while and my tack is all over the place . The trans was supposdly rebuilt within the last 10,000 miles. Where is the tach sender ?- R.w

:slythanks again guys ,I just talked to the guy and i will go in the morning to take a look . He is asking 3000 but he told me he found a subaru he wanted and needs the money to put down and would take 2500 cash . So i am hooking up the trailer in the morning and taking a drive .- R.w

thanks everyone , I am sopposed to go look at it tonight but the guy hasent sent me the pics i asked for. He is asking 3000 for it but it look really clean with the exception of the clear coat peeling off ,and i really want a 5 speed and it seems like everyone i see is beat . Thanks again for...- R.w
