Tried everything on this bronco and Facebook isn’t nearly as helpful as this forum!
Replaced, Iac, map, tps, air temp sensor, coil, cap, plugs, wires, rotor, fuel filter, intake removed hot tanked, throttle body cleaned, egr deleted and fooler plug installed, smog deleted but tab and tad left connected. No codes engine off. Engine running wasn’t showing codes except egr closed...- pelky350

recommend headlight upgrade?
I got some 30$ lasfit LED’s in my bricknose 3 years ago and they still work great, even the little fans are still running. Windshield replacement myself?
Yeah they told me there was too much surface rust and they can’t do it without taking it into a shop, and then the shop gave me a 4-800$ quote to remove the windshield and fix the minor surface rust and put some primer on it and the. It’s still 300 for safelite or any of the local companies to...- pelky350

best rpm to shift zf5?
2000 in town, highway usually 2500-3500 or so depends on how much turbo noises I want to here really lol cruising is basically as low of rpms as it will go above idle- pelky350

Best IDI electric lift pumps + Specs
Lots of people running the carter 4070, holds a constant 5 psi in my truck no lack of flow issues either with 90cc and stage 1 injectors. Mechincal pump even new would drop pressure when revving the motor, with this pump no pressure drop- pelky350

Windshield replacement myself?
They said they wouldn’t do it unless I sent it to body shop and they quoted me 5-800$ to “clean it up” then safelite wants 350$ to first remove it and then body shop then instal it again. Insurance was gonna cover it until safelite said there was potential body damage under the windshield so now...- pelky350

Stopped most the leaks into my cab, windshield is cracked and seal is so bad I can just push it out with some pressure, question is how hard is this gonna be to do myself? Safelite said no because there is some surface rust around the windshield it really doesn’t look that bad it was caused by...- pelky350

I might pull it out of the truck and at least take parts from it, it’s got a serpentine system and a working pump and injectors on it so it’s worth a few dollars in parts, won’t hurt to take it apart I’m just not sure how to get it out of my truck when I get it home I’m lacking a engine stand...- pelky350

I do have another option however being a single father I cut my hours back at work to raise my daughter while she’s little, so I don’t make a ton of money, I claimed my taxes to take max out of paychecks as a sorta of “savings account” so around February time I’ll be getting a good some of money...- pelky350

So the “new” motor is free! If I pull it anyway. It sounds fine but sat for 5 years it seems to run alright but the moisture and grey stuff on the oil fil cap concerns me some. Idk what I’m getting myself into but the truck says 300k motor runs Alright doesn’t have a rebuild sticker on it so...- pelky350
