I have a 12000lb winch. What you are talking about, or with the winch above the rails is what I am thinking, too. I know that someone here has a winch. Maybe someone can post pics or plans.- PackRat239

Thinking long and hard about jumping over to the dark side... Not the Dodge dark side
I did the d-50 to d-60 swat myself, on the ground, in less than 4 hours total. Did not help the ride! Really starting to hate the truck. Then I bought a set of goodyear Hiway tread tires. Used. 33x12.4x16.5. I swear the truck rides like new. No joke. I still dont like traffic, but the truck...- PackRat239

Factory turbo issues?
Probably from improper operation. With a turbo, you CAN NOT just shut the engine off after driving if you want the turbo to last. You must let the enging idle for 4 - 5 minutes to allow the bearings to cool down or the oil will burn on the bearings, eventually doing just what you are...- PackRat239

I would have to agree. ALL the newer trucks were / are designed so mom will drive them / ride in them without complaining. All the ammeneties (sp) are for mom / wife / girlfriend first, so the guys will buy them. They are not designed primarilly for work. Real men with real trucks dont need...- PackRat239
