The leaf spring on my rear drivers side has a broken plate. It is a DRW 4x4. Is there a specific width and size i need to replace the entire thing? I think there is a difference when replacing the calipers with 3" or 3.5". So im wondering if the same applies with the leafs?
I see. well good luck with that. I dont really know alot about GMC.
I tried to run a scanner on my truck at the time to see what the problem was, and all i got was test not supported on just about everything it was checking. So i was told that i needed a diesel scanner to test it. Either way...
I used LMC for my older 86 F150. The only good thing about them is the body parts and things like that. As far a Mech, i has similar issues with ordering parts and them not fitting.
Yep would have been a lot of help for sure.....i will have to buy one when i get a change. On the plus side, i did not have to pay for the labor or the scan.
I have a 1999 F350, with a 6spd in it. Im looking at geting the MBRP 4" turbo back dual exhaust system for it. Im i going to run into the same problems with it being a stick?
I just had a simular problem with my 1999 F350 diesel. Turns out it was the IDM, (Injector Driver Module). All the fuses and relays were good and the engine was geting fuel to the filter like yours. You said it still wont run right?. Since you sent the PMD back to get checked on, you would have...
Yes i did replace the Crankshaft sensor, it still no workie. The tach is not showing RPM's when trying to start. Im not sure what the lift pump is that you speak of, but the fuel pump and all the relay's click on and are good. I attemped to find the IDM, but had no luck. i heard it was located...
i will try to find that sensor and see if that is the problem. I would also like to look at the IDM. the problem is i cant find it. the diagram i looked at to find it show it being on the drivers side under the hood. i have looked there and i have not seen it. were exactley is it located?

Im not sure what you mean by buzz test? all i know is that i sparyed the air intake with the eathier and the engine wanted to run. If you could explain the buzz test to me, i will give it a try
we have a Diagnostic scaner for OBDII. i ran it on my truck, and all it keep saying was not supported on ever test it did. The thing is it works fine on my moms car that is gas. is there a different scaner used just for diesel engines, or can it Coincide with both and im doing it wrong?
so tonight we swaped out all the relays with the one's in my fathers truck. he has a 2000F350 powerstroke and all of them work no problem. the oil is toped off, put in a new fuel filter, checked all the fuses again and double checked the CKS we replaced the other day, and all is good. we went...
