Fuel Supply Tube Part Number Help
OK, here is how it turned out, didn't feel like running out so I used what I had in stock, seems to be working fine-these are low pressure lines so its really no big deal. Here are the flares, the bottom is a double, but the top is a single with a rubber washer/gasket, I've not seen this style...- kennyd

Fuel Supply Tube Part Number Help
Guys, I am replacing the leaking fuel/lift pump on my '92 IDI, the steel tube that runs from the pump up to the filter/separator twisted near the pump, I guess the tube was rusted/corroded in the nut. Anyway, I cant find the part number for this tube, any help for a part number or quick solution?- kennyd

Fuel leak at filter
Are you SURE its not leaking out of the top? I just went through this 2 months ago-thought for sure it was the filter and even bought a style simular to the Baldwin above. Turns out it was the heater o-ring leaking on mine, luckily I found a match for it in my plumbing parts box. Read this...- kennyd

Glow plug testing
That's the best way IMHO, one lead to ground and the other to the tip of the plug after you pull the wire off. A near zero reading (if digital) or a full scale deflection (if analog) on the meter indicates a good plug.- kennyd

92 7.3 idi???
See if it has regular V-belts or a serpentine belt, that will help identify whether is a early or later '92. $200 sounds like a deal if you want to bother parting it out.- kennyd

Where to buy insulating glow plug boot
The hole would need to be large enough to fit over the metal sleeve, then it would not seal out moisture very well IMHO.- kennyd

I just used the double-wall heat shrink on mine, I see no reason to change it. I will be happy to get it for anybody that needs it since I buy it locally at Baynseville Electronics.- kennyd
