Wait to start light goes out prematurely
Batery cables, batteries, starter & alternator are all new , NOT REBUILT in the last year. Trucks runs excellant for a 94 turbo 7.3 with 120,000 miles..the total time it takes for the volt meter needle to jump from the initial turm of the key is 17 secs. Wait to start light goes out prematurely
Starts without issue. I got used to waiting until light went out and never had an issue. The last 2 days i have noticed the drain effect sound. So , i waited until i saw the jump , made the 2nd attempt and problem solved. I wanted to know if anyone had this experience and could these symptoms...- Kahunias-J-puppy

Wait to start light goes out prematurely
When wait to start light goes out, i turn the key and the starting is slow and battery sounds gives slow drawing sound like battery is dead..... Then I turn the key back and wait 5 secs. Try it again, but this time i wait till after light goes out, then i watch to see voltmeter jump in positive...- Kahunias-J-puppy

1994 F250-single cab 4x4 with dual has doors

How do you get to the steering box adjustment!
I have a 94 F-250 and the steering nox is secured with 3 bolts. Which can be directly observed in the left inside wheelwell, right above the tire...those 3 bolts NEED to be GRADE 8 ..I think bc they are case-hardened steel....and can handle the extreme pressure applied. How do you get to the steering box adjustment!
Just changed mine out and had to replce the 3 bolts on the box....STRONG ADVICE: use nothing but GRADE 8 BOLTS..i dont know if they are going to come with your new box but if you need them go thru ford...I USED Grade-6....(wrong answer) the bolts snapped in 4 weeks and i lost control of the...- Kahunias-J-puppy

I have a 1994 f250 7.3 Turbo IDI with 114.000 miles. Truck starts & runs excellent. I am noticing that it goes through about a quart of oil every. 1500-2 thousand miles. Is this normal?
