Blinking Fuel Filter Light
That light is in response to low fuel pressure. Usually contaminated fuel clogging your filter quickly or a bad lift pump. You have a fuel pressure gauge? I run one in the cab on both my IDI's for this very reason. Like suggested - cut open the old fuel filter and see how clogged the filter...- hesutton

GearVendors behind ZF5 4x4 - Anyone done it and care to share their setup?
Have a US Gear UNDERDRIVE on my '86 crew cab that i put a 460 ZF5 in. Love the underdrive. The F350 SRW has 3.55 gearing in the axles and it cruises well on the highway. However, when hauling, the underdrive splitter is king! Makes moving weight much easier. It turns my ZF5 into a 10 speed...- hesutton

Lost couple hundred photos when webshots died. I may have something on my old laptop but, that's a long shot. I had pictures with dimensions and every thing. Still works great. Have been driving the F250 with the York compressor most of the last two months. Heath- hesutton

New fuel pump
Is there power coming from the harness to the FSS when you have the ignition on? Easy to check. Turn on the ignition. Go under the hood and disconnect the plug from the FSS. It should click. Heath- hesutton

6.9 IDI block bellhousing pattern?
My guess is no. I have (and several other have as well) a 460 ZF5 bolted to the 6.9 in my '86 crew cab. Starter was never an issue. Heath- hesutton

Sounds like the fuel shutoff solenoid on the IP. Does it have power? If so, is it working? Should hear it click with 12v applied. Heath- hesutton
