Id would also agree about moving away from the main 3 for a turbo kit. These kits were designed 20+ years ago and while at the time they were leading edge things have changed alot since then. I would talk to Mel about his moose boost or talk to R&D about a stage 1 turbo setup. The S200/S300...- funnyman06

Engine oil for 7.3 idi?
My old motor used to drink rotella as well. I typically ran Delo or vavoline with minimal consumption.- funnyman06

Dealer AC Install
Hey everyone, Last weekend I finally swapped my new to me motor into my 85 and I'm slowing getting around to installing all of the accessories. Ive been slowing working on getting my old engine out of the truck so i can drop in my new one. Motor mount bolts are kicking my ass, being 31 years old they fight back a little.- funnyman06

No A/C Wide shallow radiator switch to narrow deep
My 85 has dealer installed AC and the wide radiator. Id love to switch to the AC one if i had the pieces available but ill probably just buy another off rock auto.- funnyman06

DB electrical 4 kw starter
Would you still recommend the 4KW starter even though it only mounts with 2 bolts? Im looking at ordering a new starter for my engine swap, but dont want to order something thats a problem.- funnyman06

How to wake up a 7.3 from a 10 year slumber
I think the hope of spaying oil on top of the pistons to to lube the rings that have possibly dried out over the last few years of sitting dry. This way on first spin its not dry rings on a dry bore. Ill be in the same situation shortly. I just picked up a used motor that was rebuilt not too...- funnyman06
