Radiator beat down
I have a 1984 f250 with a radiator that got in the fan and chewed up the core. I too contemplated on which way to go, replace or recore. I finally bit the bullet and had mine recored. anyone else having problems with newer interstate batteries
I went through 2 interstate batteries in my wife's van that had short lives. Replaced with a Walmart. I had a WalMart battery in my daily driver F150 it lasted 7 years. Until proven otherwise WalMart is where I go now. Obviously the van and the 376k mile F150 dont require the same cranking...- Frstdiesel

Well I thought I had a good lead on a "reasonable" re-core for my original radiator. I was quoted $680. From what I have read on here over the past many months this is probably in the ballpark.
