eletric fule pump
I can't remember what brand mine is, but it's nothing special that's for sure. I mounted mine on the frame under the drivers door with a frame mounted spin-on filter Filter first, then electric pump (best thing I ever did) then it goes to a racor (2 micron) and then to the standard ford...- emmer

Truck is totaled and I have a few questions?
whatever you do, do a compression test. ask the guy what he wants for it. ask him if he minds if you can try to get it going, and if so...tell him, if you get it running.. the price remains the same, period. with a cold engine, crack the injector nuts one at a time, spin it over and check...- emmer

Well i did it...
There's no doubt about it........... I am gettin old, cuz 25 years ago I used to revv the 350 in my 71 Camaro so high it would pull the rocker studs out.cookoo Now? I cruz down the road, never going over (bout 3000) in my 7.3 idi ;Really- emmer

oil gauge or pump problem
You might want to test it with a manual guage. Factory guages are very poor (at best), the sensors are garbage also.- emmer

radiator overflow bottle
I left a soldering iron (hot) on mine and burned a hole thru it, so I patched it with ~shoe goo~ That stuff is beyond strong! I don't know if it's avalible in the US though.- emmer

Another electric fuel pump question:
I bolted a small spin on (pre-lift pump) filter onto my frame, under the door. Then I hooked my electric pump to the output of the filter and mounted it on to an L bracket. I wired the pump to my fuse box with an ~ add a fuse~. It worked flawlessly except for the -push on- fittings were...- emmer

fuel line type and size
Punkmachanic- Thanks for the info, I used to heat up the ends of hoses in boiling water and then slid them onto a fitting that was one size too big. The end result was a hose that the incredible hulk couldn't pull off. I'll try the heat gun or blowdryer method. Rangerwreck- I sure will let...- emmer

fuel line type and size
Recently I tapped into my fuel line to put my pre-lifet pump filter in. The line from my tank is a thin (plastic looking) type line. I would like to properly tap into this line becuase the way I did it didn't hold up very well. It hose looks to me that to properly tap into it, would take...- emmer

For those wanting to spin them faster...
I dream of someday having my own designed diesel, with super thick cyl walls (1 inch), with a displacement of 500cu inch (inline 6) and a massive turbo ( 2 feet across) and a massive pump.......with monster injectors, bolted up to a 18 speed roadranger. :) :) ......something that would shake...- emmer
