i also need a set of wider towing mirrrows but they don't need to be power or heated. i've checked the web pages and am wondering if anyone has a sight that undersells most of the sights and ebay??
anyone out there ever tried to beef up the rear of their truck with after market helper springs. i need some help as my one ton only has the 4 factory leafs and i'm looking at putting on some overloads or helper springs for some much needed hauling capability. any info is appreciated
i have an 87 ford f-150 6 banger auto that i've replaced the fuel pump on and fuel filter but it keeps stalling. seems like it does it more when it is hot and tends to stall out on hills. sometimes it will fire up after setting awhile only to stall once it's put into gear. can't figure it...
53 block
there are many articles in this web site on the 53 block. the best way to find out is researh the articles however, any 53 block in an 01 is suseptible to cracking from what i understand.
2 used steel flatbeds, one with a wood floor, 1 is 8 ft. the other 9 ft. long. $400. each the 8 ft. off a dodge and the 9 ft. off ford. also, 8 ft. dually bed, good shape $1200. off 97 dodge

i believe they are all the same except in later years they started to bolt on an overdrive on the rear of the tranny. not sure of when the OD was introduced
what's it worth
i've got a clean 98 12 valve x-tra cab with some right side bed damage but only 2 wheel drive and i can't get a bite, from this site anyway, i'm going to try another site as soon as the weather breaks. the weather may be hurting you also.. maybe the 53 block is scaring...
