Hi, Thanks Big Red, I since visited a Mister Transmission and talked to a very helpful manager. He suggested the first thing to look for is low fluid level. Also, apparently way back Dodge came out with a tech bulletin to add a check valve in one of the lines, to help with the drainback issue...- dank1945

Ford guy looking at a Dodge

Test port location on VP44?

I brazed a bung to the tranny pan in a few minutes, and the risk of a leak is minimal, I would recommend it, as the sensor is submerged in the oil, giving you an average temp of the actual fluid. I would like to find out where is the test port in the vp44, as I still need to install my fuel...- dank1945

Front hub help
Front hub removal I don't have 4 bolts coming in from the rear, just three small bolts that hold the splash shield (or what's left of it) from the front. I had to drill them out, and I'm going with pass through bolts with nylon locking nuts in behind. Each shield was $50. Talk about a rip off...- dank1945

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if electric fan conversion is a good idea on an 01 automatic 24V, mostly to help keep the auto xmission oil cool? I had done it in my 94 Ford IDI and it ran much cooler.
