    Wondering if it’s as simple as swapping my hypermax turbo out for a factory Garret that ford used in 93 on my 7.3. Or will I need to do a bunch of swapping of pieces to make it work.

    I haven’t had this truck very long and I’m discovering more and more hackery with this thing. Slowly just trying to get it all sorted out. I don’t know much about these trucks and this forum is full of knowledge. The truck was originally NA but the previous owner put a hypermax turbo kit on it.

    Engine temp when towing

    just getting a feel for some ideas on what I can do to keep the engine temp down when towing. It runs up to about half on the stock temp gauge and then I just baby it from there so it doesn’t climb anymore. 7.3 idi with hypermax turbo. IP and injectors just all redone.     I bought a used injection pump from kevo1288 on here and paid him Monday for it but have not heard back or received the pump yet. Any suggestions on what I should do. I can not seem to get ahold of him either.
