another ZF5 roll over thread.... with excessive roll over noise.

I do believe Bart is spot on. It's hard to tell exactly from the photos the actual degrees, and I'm guessing around a 23 degree driveshaft angle, but the u joint operating angles seem too far apart. Ideally, should be within 1/2 degree of each other. U joint operating angles greater than 3...

Need a Photo of Intact Lower Portion of Windshield Pillar

Hi Folks, Long shot here, but does anyone happen to have a photo of the lower section of the windshield pillar where it meets the upper cowl? I need to rebuild this portion and both sides are rusted away. Haven't had much luck on line finding a photo of this area intact. I can probably wing...

Thank you much! I used a grinder with cutting disc to rough cut the large panel holes, then a grinder cone rock to fine tune them. Used a step drill for the little holes. I'm with ya on the firewall reinforcement. I bought this kit...

Finally Found a DMF - Anyone Here of This Brand?

I've been looking for a new DMF for a good while now with not much luck at all. Is anyone still selling these still? Anyway, Picked up a Power Torque/Brute Power DMF part number 50-167755 on ebay for $50. Figured for fifty bucks it's worth a shot. Seems to share the correct part number...

Finally got the truck from Oahu to home on Big Island. Gave it a good pressure washing all around and underneath as vehicles always come off the open barge with a nice coat of sea salt. It's a shame the body rotted so much because the frame and under carriage is remarkably clean and solid...

Well, really digging the white. Might play around with a bit of 2 tone. Maybe Red and White or Black and White. I've always had solid white trucks and really like it.

Interesting story...or Scary. PO evidently installed a wheel with the correct lug pattern, but the center bore was too small. I didn't notice it when purchasing... Had new tires installed. The tire shop did not notice it either. How they did not notice is beyond me as it would have stood...

I believe you and I share very similar tastes. I like all of your color choices, especially 2 tone Red and White.

It will likely take me a few months due to my day job, but planning these steps: 1. Wet Blast sheet metal repair areas. 2. Repair Sheetmetal, grind welds. 3. Wet Blast remaining areas of cab as needed. 4. Epoxy Primer Seal Coat. 5. Seam Seal. 6. Body Filler As needed. 7. Epoxy Primer...
