I do believe Bart is spot on. It's hard to tell exactly from the photos the actual degrees, and I'm guessing around a 23 degree driveshaft angle, but the u joint operating angles seem too far apart. Ideally, should be within 1/2 degree of each other. U joint operating angles greater than 3...

Thank you much! I used a grinder with cutting disc to rough cut the large panel holes, then a grinder cone rock to fine tune them. Used a step drill for the little holes.

Finally got the truck from Oahu to home on Big Island. Gave it a good pressure washing all around and underneath as vehicles always come off the open barge with a nice coat of sea salt. It's a shame the body rotted so much because the frame and under carriage is remarkably clean and solid...
Well, really digging the white. Might play around with a bit of 2 tone. Maybe Red and White or Black and White. I've always had solid white trucks and really like it.

PO evidently installed a wheel with the correct lug pattern, but the center bore was too small. I didn't notice it when purchasing...
Had new tires installed. The tire shop did not notice it either. How they did not notice is beyond me as it would have stood...
It will likely take me a few months due to my day job, but planning these steps:
1. Wet Blast sheet metal repair areas.
2. Repair Sheetmetal, grind welds.
3. Wet Blast remaining areas of cab as needed.
4. Epoxy Primer Seal Coat.
