    Coolant leaking from...somewhere

I went through the same thing your going through now. Coolant leak on the passenger side of the engine. It was hard to tell because the fan blows it all over the place but my first thought was "oh no its the head gasket" because apparently they do that after awhile. I dried everything up as best...

    High beam lights not working

Thanks for the reply, As luck would have it I actually happen to be the original owner. That being said I can't recall ever altering my headlight wiring so I don't think that would be it. I tried changing the multi-function switch and that didn't have any effect. I tried to find a wiring diagram...

    High beam lights not working

So here is an interesting problem. I have a 1994 F-250 and was driving the other night, tried to put on high beams and nothing. The next morning I went to investigate and found that the 30 amp fuse under the hood which apparently controls them was blown. After some trial and error it looks like...

    Front tank sending unit.

Out of the 2 plastic tanks offered in front I believe one was a 19 and the larger was a 22. I have the 22 that you cant get anymore anywhere from anyone nor can you get the sender. Apparently it wasn't a very popular setup. The smaller plastic tank has the sender mounted directly on top of the...

    '94 lumbar support air bladder

The fabric is held on by plastic clips on the bottom and sides of my truck but I have a standard cab. Yours probably has fabric covering the back with those plastic clips which you have to unclip from the very bottom of the seat back then the cover will pull up. The only problem is the stitching...

    '94 lumbar support air bladder

Are you sure its the bladder that is leaking? I thought mine was shot and had ordered a new bladder from the Ford dlr. After disassembling the whole thing I realized it was just one of the hoses that had a crack in it.

    Midship Fuel tank sender Help

I think i'll be able to get the new sender to work in my tank. I re-bent and re-angled the down tubes to the same distance down from the top plate as my old one. The only difference now will be the offset and the connector which I'm going to have to cut off my old one and replace on the new...

    Midship Fuel tank sender Help

That’s actually where I got my new sending unit from but it’s for a tank that the unit goes in on a slant where my tank the opening is level across. Also the electrical connector is a different size. In T Rex description for that unit it said it not for 23 gal tanks with a plastic nut. I didn’t...

    Midship Fuel tank sender Help

My sending unit/pickup housing rusted out and is now leaking. I have been trying to find a replacement but cant seem to find it anywhere. I have a 1994 F250 7.3l with a plastic front tank with a plastic nut that fastens the unit down. Has anybody ever seen one like this?

    Rear Brake Conversion

I’ve had the tsm rear disc kit on my truck for about 4 years now and love it. Works way better than the drum and the hydraulic e brake works great. I have never had a problem with getting an inspection either. My truck weighs about 8800 with my tools and I tow a 10k trailer. I also use the...

    Commercial tire question

I can tell you I think Michelin's are the worst brand I've ever owned. I've had them on my trucks and cars and they always developed cracks in the sidewall. I switched to the Bridgestone DURAVIS R500 LT235/85R16 and have to say its a great tire plus they were on sale at costco. I do a lot of...

    tuff country vs rough country

I did the Tuff country lift that offers a 2-2.5" lift with a spring pack in the front and an add a leaf in the rear about 4 years ago and i didn't really notice a huge difference in ride quality. It was a little stiffer but not much and had no problems with alignment. you can use standard size...

How to clean a rusty axle

I just got into trying to rustproof my truck when I cracked a rear leaf spring. I decided to use my de-scaler to get rid of some of that chunky rust around the spring hangers and to my dismay , I de-scaled a few holes right through both of my rear spring hangers. That's when I knew it was time...
