    7.3 powerstroke oil leak

What I meant by simple green bath is just spray some degreaser and give it a light scrub with a toilet brush then spray it off. And no, I haven't heard of oil leaking into the injectors. The compression is so high that the fuel air mix ignites under pressure. The top ring are also partially...

    7.3 powerstroke oil leak

Going up the hill will load the block. And that will actually be more efficient for the motor (benefit of diesel engine). Rather get the block warm and drive with light load and step on the throttle. If it blows alot of white smoke at fast rpm, it may be a small issue. But even though...

    7.3 powerstroke oil leak

What about after it's warmed up and you get on the throttle? Also when starting does it have a quick spot in the rotation? (Crank crank crank spin crank crank)? Sent from my cp3705A using Tapatalk

It's easy. Adjusting window is like a 3/4 oval hole at the bottom inside of the back plate with a rubber cap. Push in the flat lock tab with 1 small flat screwdriver, at the same time turn the star on the adjuster in. Out direction will turn without pushing lock tab, in you have to push lock tab...

Super easy check just for all around assurance. Can you pull the E-brake pedal up while also pulling the brake release? My brake light only comes on when the E-brake is on. Sent from my cp3705A using Tapatalk

    7.3 powerstroke oil leak

If your burning that much oil I'd be checking for dropped piston rings or burnt cylinders. Sent from my cp3705A using Tapatalk

    Tachometer issue 94

Mine was craping out to. Eratic like what you are describing. It was the cruz controle module. On day I cought the blue smoke of death from under the center of the dash and then the tach, speedo, and odometer all went out. I haven't had luck finding those modules except pic a part or doner. But...

    Injector flow issues

I'm going to swap out the bed for a service body anyway so I can get it all out together then. Sent from my cp3705A using Tapatalk

I've had that problem before in my 94 IDI. I couldn't figure it out so I ran with it, till it was too late. It ended up being the axle bearings. The end result was the bearing blew up and then pieces of bearing and cage went into to axle tube and ran so hot that the axle ciezed in the tube. I...

    Injector flow issues

Ya, something. After I blew out the hose both front and rear flow great. I'm going to replace both pick-ups in the future. Sent from my cp3705A using Tapatalk

    Rattlecan ZF5 at high rpm?!

Simplest things first. Lift the boot and see if there is anything loose that will rattle on the shifter, also look at the slave cylinder and linkage. I could be wrong but it seams that high rpm will make a solid noise, not a rattle. And at high gear, everything is quieter and you can hear road...

    Injector flow issues

This is more of a tip. Ok for the longest time I thought I had a pick-up / water issue in my front tank. I recently made a electric tube and harness so I could drain the sludge/ water from my front tank. This is coming pre filter under the hood. Ok, so I hooked everything up and started the...

The dually is 10" wider than my IDI, AND THE 2nd tire sticks out 5" each side from the tool box. So the bed will match the width damn near perfect. And if I get the 315s they will add 1.5" per side. This shows a comparison with just the 33" tires. Sent from my cp3705A using Tapatalk

The shop truck is the 97 powerstroke dually, and it's a base with some rot. And the rear is 3.55 gear. The 94 IDI T, IS THE 4X4 with 4.10 gear rear. And 6 bolts and some taillights are a hell of alot easier than a 4x4 transplant. I'm not worried about the work, just the weight. Bed swap is easy...
