Well I was thinking of the 4500 , because of all the tings about and we would be putting a side door in with steps .This truck would be a more residential type truck we where looking at the e350's because the weight is not an issue if they made the 4500 with less weight that would be fine for...
Does any one have the gm 4500 cub van configureation with the walk thru door? I don't need the weight carrying cababilty but was thinking of the flip open hood, better viewing and roomeier cab which you don't really get in the gm 3500 or the ford e350. I was just woundering if any one is running...
I have them on my '97 and they work well and I have that 1" space too. I just had my truck loaded all the way up with cement stone and some dirt from a demo job and it didn't hardely go down to where they are working hard .
I was just at a show where there was a GM rep there and he said that they where gonna wait to see what Ford does .But he did say that he heard 315HP and not 310. But if the engine is out already why would he not know?? He did say it was only a chip or something .Who do you belive ?
If I could get a decent 4x4 cab and chassis that would most likely have a gas engine in it What kind of diesel engine would fit? and how much would something likt this cost to do ? Has any one ver done such a thing to keep a old chevy with leaf spring front end in service?
In some of GM's paper ads you see a single rear wheel pick up towing a big 14K lb + machine plus towing the weight of the trailer. Now is the Dmax and auto trany able to pull that much weight? And this looked like it was a ball hitch and not a fifth wheel or goosneck.
