    I agree, 460 is gonna pull faster than an N/A IDI, but you'll definetly be in single digits with the 460. IDI is gonna be slower, but more fuel efficient. Though the 460 won't have the durability to do it for 300k miles like an IDI. And the IDI may not be the fastest, but it will do it all...

    Do you mean the Dana 44HD TTB? There were 3 TTB setups in the Fullsize trucks. Dana 44 TTB with 5 lug hubs, Dana 44HD with 8 lug hubs and 3" diameter lockouts, and the Dana 50 TTB with 8 lug hubs and 4" diameter lockouts.     To disable the glow plugs, pull the power supply wire off the Glow Plug relay. On my 85, it's the purple wire with the 90* boot that slips on one of the small studs of the relay. Yours is the new style system, it's different, but I think it uses the same relay itself...but your wire color...
