Well tomorrow I am going to look at a 92 Ford F350 XLT 2wd crew cam dually with a 7.3l and a 5 speed. He just put a new clutch, injector seals, glow plugs, and batteries in it. Ok well it seems unanimous the fords are the better truck overall. To the ford fans do u like the 6.9 or 7.3 better and why? I haven't heard anybody say anything negative about the 6.9 but have seen something about #7 cyl wall on 7.3.- blackwater

I am looking for my first diesel. I am wondering everybody's honest opinion about all three trucks. I am very mechanically inclined.
