Lift pump noise
I bought a 95 and the lift pump was making noise under acceleration so I replaced it. I have tested and all pressure is 25-27. Are these pumps supposed to make clatter noise under a load,? my new pump is loader than the one I took out at 240k. These pumps seem reliable but the noise sounds like...- ak800x

Marvelouse mystery oil in fuel
Yeh a fine would suck but I could plead ignorance since the bottle says you can add it to gas or deisel fuel. Thanks for the heads up though.- ak800x

I have a 95 12v with 244k still running like a bull, I mix one half gallon MMO to a full tank and have had real go results. No hard starts at 15 below, idles 750-800 seems to keep things lubed nice, pumps valves ect there is a slight MMO smell but it's OK!. I have an ATS manifold does anyone...- ak800x

Is propane worth it???
Your filter looks like the turbo is trying to eat it. Go with the big paper filter you can get them at any big rig parts outlet. I have one on my cummins and 460 motorhome max lobuck flow.- ak800x

Fuel gelling temperature
Marvel mystery oil "The fix all in a red jug" I have been adding Marvel mystery oilto my 95 with 245k now and it starts at below -10 as long as plug it in of course. I add one jug per fill and all is fine. You can see a slight blue in the exhuast when warming up but thats it. Probably lubes the...- ak800x

Rotella I bought my 95 from a guy working at the big Ken/Cat place here in Alaska and he says that Rotella is comming out with a full synthetic oil for our trucks.
