Truck has trouble starting up i changed the fuel pump and also installed a electronic fuel pump brand new lift pump and fuel filter new glow plugs. When i start it up i have to connect the cables because battery will drain after trying so much after i got it started it will idle in park for hours but once i hit the roads it marks fuel filter and when in low rpms it starts bogging down as long as i have the gas pedal down a bit it wont do it. Battery light is on today i will have them check the charging system.

As far as the charging system works I would check the alternator and the voltage regulator.

Sounds like it has some old fuel in it. I would put some additive in the tank and run it.

It is not a good idea to have both the mechanical lift pump and an electric pump. If the diaphragm in the lift pump goes bad the electric pump will pump diesel straight in to the crank case . This can ruin an engine before you even know something is wrong. If you want to use the electric pump you should eliminate the lift pump and toss a block off plate in its place.
