As my other thread mentioned, I do indeed need a front/passenger bearing...so I'll do both sides.

Also I want to replace the two front rotors OE from 1988 and getting thin!

To aid the parts guy...how do I know what front axle I have?
Is it a...

Front tag on the diff is > 354 E8TAZC & 610312-1
Doorjamb axle coed is '39' but is that for the rear diff?

And hopefully a pic of the rotor

Thanks fella's a 50 it is!

Another question...how hard will it be to beat out my wheel studs...they're original from 1988.

Also... can I reuse them in the new rotor?

It's not easy. Get a large brass rod and drive them out. I would not strike them directly with a hammer, you could damage the threads and swell them on the ends. I re-use them with no trouble. I always drive them back in, I don't trust tightening the lugs will pull them all the way in.

Thanks for that, again I just question if the OE studs will be better driving out & back in vs buying new 'made in China' studs?

Air hammer and punch head drive em out..and drive em in...simple...or shop press...

Lots of air tools but unfortunately, no air hammer or press but I got a big hammer and a brass punch!

Question...are these studs biting into both the rotor AND the hub, or just the rotor?
Looking at my above pic, am I able to pull the hub off first and then remove-install the studs from the rotor or, do I have to beat the studs out of 'both' before the Hub and Rotor can be separated?
Guys, would this work?

Passenger side is done...new bearings, races, caliper and brake pads. Pulled the old studs back into place with spacers, lug nuts and a long torque bar.
Drivers side next...and then a leaking rear wheel cylinder... *** Grrrrrr!

Did you happen to remove the spindle (five nuts) and check / grease the outer axle needle bearing? You are 90% of the way there!
