I'm not going to be a d-bag and say I want such and such $$ for my truck, or else I'm going to scrap it and then not offer it for price of scrap. So all I'm asking is $600.00 for it. It's a 7000lb truck, and scrap is $.09 a lb.

87 Crew Cab Dually F350, 6.9, C6 2wd. I tore the engine apart to replace the head gaskets, and found out that I can move the pistons in the cylinders. It probably just needs oversized pistons, but it's already got .020 in there and I have not the time, patience, money, or ambition to do this project. So come get it from me and save it from becoming a cube. Located in NW Florida

If anyone is seriously interested, I also have a '95 PSD Ext cab that I'll throw in for an extra $900. So for $1500, you can have both my trucks. The '87 has a clean title, the '95 has no title and damage to the cab from a tree falling on it. And no, I won't take any less for either truck. They're both worth more than I'm asking for them. I just need rid of them. PM me for my phone number, or reply here with questions.

I would probably buy them but don't feel like yanking a 40ft trailer over to get both at the same time lol. How far are you from Daytona?

too bad it doesnt run...

It actually does run if you put it back together. I drove it into the shop. It only needs minimal work to run again as far as the engine is concerned. I got to thinking about it, and it might just be broken piston skirts, and the pistons were rubbing themselves off on the cylinder walls as they moved up and down. Just a thought. But I bet if someone went just another .010 over and got new pistons, it would go back together and work just fine.

i meant running enough to drive home.

ive been thinking about selling off my F150 to see if i can find a beater diesel truck...this F150 sucks for towing. after going from a turbo 7.3 to an enemic 302....even the 4spd doesnt help it.

Just as a heads up to anyone interested... Truck goes to the junkyard this weekend unless I make other plans to sell it to someone else.

Both trucks are sold. Neither one went to scrap... The guy is going to continue my original project of putting the PSD into the 87.
