Colin, what all have you tried to free up the rings? Seafoam, Zmax, anything like that at all?

If all else fails, I would help you out no problem at all! I got everything we need but an engine lift and engine stand.

I seen that truck while hauling down the Hammonds Plains Road and I got to say, his truck is a NICE, CLEAN RIG!!! Makes me wish my truck was that clean!! I mean my crew cab is nice, but this thing would make stone cold steve austin cry it's that nice...

Run you a few doses of snake oil( auto RX) threw that thing, then take it to have the pump timed, and turn you pump up some, then see how that wakes her up, depending on were you pyrometer is will determine your limits on egt

check your throttle cable. Is it really giving you full throttle? it wasnt on mine it would only give me 3/4 throttle. When I found that out it was amazing the amount of power I "gained".

thanks budy i appreciate it im trying to keep it that way to. iv tried zmax thats about if iv been usuing lubricity and ctane booster in almost every tank for months iv put a load on it iv tried driving it like a pissed of teenager it just seems shes stuck which sucks cuz i cant afford to get it rebuilt right now i go back to work in 2 weeks school sucks lol i havnt tried seafoam what would that do?

I put a can of seafoam through my fuel tank and I gained a little MPG for that tank, but since then it went back down to what it was for mileage before the seafoam.

I mean it's a $12 attempt to fix it, but if it don't work, what's $12. I REALLY figgured that Z max would open her up. I would dump a bottle of seafoam into the fuel tank and drive her like you stole her for a little....don't speed, but REALLY put the fuel to her to get her movine. Heat and RPM will get those rings to start moving.

I haven't personally seen Auto Rx work myself, but almost every member here who had issues like you did ran it and it cleaned her right up. I can't see the rings being worn out with only 33 000 kms on the clock, I would imagine they are just stuck.

But if it needs a rebuild, I am sure we can get her apart.

I got a gasser hot once and stuck the rings. I used Mystery oil Through the carb in the tank and in the crank case. She freed right up. we can't do the through the carb trick, but with what I experienced and knowing that oil works it's way around and through all the ring, a product like auto rx might very will work you!
