seen a cool idi today! anyone ever seen one?!?!

seen a women at pizza hut tonight pull up in this truck. 80 something model f350. walked outside to look at it and she didnt even kno what kind of engine it had. she said something about a cat engine but i bet it was a 6.9 4 speed. she said there were only 4 ever made and only 2 still running. just wondering if anyone had ever seen one or knows what there called. i wanna do a little research on them. she said it was her husbads truck and didnt know anything about it. thanks!

I cant see too close but it seems to be a sleeper added onto a IDI. Maybe it was a CCLB and they modified it. I know they make sleepers like that. It looks ugly and cool at the same time lol.

That's how I did mine too, only I have 4ft fiberglass whips instead of stainless steel ones. Right on the factory towing mirrors too, no West Coast mirrors for me (not yet at least).

The filler necks are made into The sleeper part and The holes on the flat bed for the filler necks have diamond plate riveted over then

Yah, no kidding - the couldn't even match the slope of the windshield when they did the high-rise roof on the cab... The one that Calvin found is so much nicer IMHO.
