I need a set of gears for the rear. I'd like to get a set of 3.73 and either buy or trade for the 4.10 I have in there now. If you don't have any but know where I can get some please let me know.

our diesel trucks didn't come with a 3:73 gearing option.so anyone who would happen to have a sterling for a bolt in replacement for your '94 truck, would have been geared via aftermarket ring and pinions, and likely professionally installed.so you won't find anyone willing to swap.
our stock options were 3:55 or 4.10.
to get close to 3:73's i reduced tire height with 3.55 gearing.

if you swap in a 3.55 salvage yard axle, for your 4.10's and run stock 215's on that DRW pickup, you'll be right where you want to be.:)

oh,i see your 245's.boy,with 4.10's and them tires, she pulls off the line good hey.;)
well if you keep those and just swap to a stock 3.55 axle with someone,or local yard, then you'll be good with 3.73ish gearing right there.about 3.69:1 you couldn't tell the difference.same final results.:)

I drove it today for the first time since swapping from the e4od to the zf5. In over drive I'm turning some rpms that I don't like. At 50 mph I'm turning almost 2,000 rpms. Maybe its normal but I don't know.

I pulled the camper to mudfest and the truck did real good. I think I'm going to keep it like it is for now. Now I need a new transfer case because mine broke something inside of it coming home.

Ouch! I have 285's w/ 4.10's(3.91 effective ratio) and at 2000 rpms I am around 60mph.
