OK, a 16-year-old truck is allowed to clunk once in a while, right?
I was on an approach to a bridge when it made a horrible clunking sound, like metal hitting metal. I thought maybe the whole front end would fall apart. Since I had no chance to stop I kept going and it straightened itself out. Nothing seems to be loose down there and it goes down the road straight at 70 mph. I am thinking the 4WD did not get disengaged completely from the last use? Any ideas? Do I have front-end trouble coming?
