That would explain why they used the Saginaw pump in vans then. I never knew why before. Thanks, Russ.

Russ has forgotten more than most of us know I think!

I know the van brackets are scarce... Because I have been looking too. If you find them everyone expects top dollar for them too.

I wish I could have saved all the e chassis diesel stuff we scrapped at evergreen.

Is this the part you need or the other half? This is what I need but I don't feel like paying that kind of money for it either.

It is the other half. The part that actually bolts to the pump. The metal gave out just above where it bolts to the pump behind the pulley.

I'll snap a picture later. I might have what you need then but I'm not sure.

Once you have the bracket you need, I’ll buy the busted one from you jayro, I’d like to get it reproduced so I can make them more available.

Okay. As long as I can purchase one of your reproductions to have one on my shelf in case it happens again.

My plan was to repair and re-enforce my broken one to serve this purpose, but I am all for someone producing replacements parts.

Is this the right one? I'm not sure what it came off. I thought it was an idi van but not sure.

Yes, that is it!! Are you willing to part ways with it? PM me with details.

Mine broke below a little ways below the square hole used to set the tension. Right where it gets thinner and goes behind the pulley to bolt to the pump.

I'll write myself a note to see if I still have one when I get home.

Use to have the sag pump on my 6.9 and I know I got it from a van. Can't imagine I scrapped it but I did go through a big clean up a few weeks ago.

Thanks. I have one on the way, but if it doesn’t work for some reason I will hit you up.
