Jill and I enjoyed ourselves. We were welcomed in with primo parking and then the campground was nice enough to let us park inside overnight so that we could unload rain free. AWESOME time was had.

It was great to see old friends and make new ones.

A big thanks go out to Darrin and Lori for putting this on and for allowing us the use of a car for the weekend for the grocery trip.

the rain wasn't a hamper on the weekend because it's about being around friends and enjoying the company.

Had an awesome time.... Looking forward to seeing everyone in Jan.

Thanks to Darrin for setting this up. We enjoyed ourselves despite the rain. Going to the pick and pull was a great fun, I make have to steal that idea sometime. When we left we headed west to try and get our feet in Lake Michigan, but found out that the State Parks don't allow pets, and all of the beaches we came across were private property. So we headed east, but decided to make a detour to see the Wick's for a little visit and a place to park for the night. (Thanks Rob) Then headed for home this morning. Nice a dry no rain in the sky(figures). It was good seeing old friends again, and meeting a few new ones. 986 miles door to door. I hope someone has a few pics to share. I didn't take any.

On Saturday there was a good threat of Severe Storms, so we battened down the hatches and headed up to the Pavilion for a game of Giant Jenga. Thanks again to Gary for bringing this along, It was a gread idea and a lot of fun for the group while we waited oujt the storm, that never really developed, just a lot of rain:

Here are some pics of the Jenga Game:

It was great to See Laurie, and the kids, Jackie and Calvin (ladydieselshine) They came in the Jeep Grand Cherokee with the typical 4.0L Piston Slap so it sounded just like a Diesel and it fit right in!

Argve:,..Travis and new bride Jill drove up from the Indy area on the new Scoot, They had rain most of the way up. It is very clear that Travis and Jill are extremely happy together, and any woman that would make that ride to go to a Diesel Truck Weekend, is obviously as crazy as Travis is, and are made for each other. Great seeing you guys again!

However, Don't let Marsha's stature fool you, She didn't take the cushy ride to the Rally in the Ford Motor Coach, She drove this rig!,..F350 Dump Truck Diesel 5sp Pulling a trailer!, This is the Rig that Ron just restored.

I Had to get a pic of her with the Truck:
