im doing a cummins swap in my crewcab dually. dodge used 1410 joints and ford only uses 1350s. would it be wise to try to find a 1410 pinion yoke for the rear axle or will the 1350 be plenty? does anyone know where to find one since they werent stock?

Might be easier and cheaper to have a custom drive shaft fabricated to work for you...:dunno:D

What were the original OEM zf driveshaft u-joints? I know they are bigger than the c6 driveshaft joints, so that might be something to search for in the junkyard. I had to swap the yoke on my rearend from the donor so the larger zf driveshaft joints would fit when I swapped trannies. But I don't know what series joints they were.

1350 is factory on the f250 and 350 behind the zf. i cant really even find anyone that makes a 1410 that will fit on the pinion of the 10.5 rear. just wondering if people thought it was worth the effort or if the 1350 s would be fine behind a cummins.

I found one company that makes a 1350 / 1410 combo joint when I did my brownie box. I can find the number if you need it.

I know I have seen 1410 for the 10.25, give me a bit and I might be able to find them again.
