Yes... When I did my doors I covered it completely. No gaps just coverage.

when i had the interior completely out i filled every cavity with expanding foam. and i do mean EVERY cavity. i drilled holes to stick the hose through in the B and C pillars, the space abover and below the rear window, the entire cavity under the rear side windows and filled all the roof supports. then i sprayed SPECTRUM spray deadener several coats on the entire interior and inside the doors. then rolled on a good layer of DAMPLIFIER mat on the entire interior and doors. then i got a big roll of the aluminum lined insulator from JCWhitney and glued it to everything including inner doors. all in all abvout $700 worth and a few weeks worth of time. i never drove it before hand to know how much of a difference it made. now my only real complaint is wind noise. the spectrum and damplifier is from a company called SECOND SKIN AUDIO. i highly recommend this company, the guy is very helpful and nice to deal with.
