Well as much as I love this truck I thinks gonna gonna be sold in a couple weeks I have a guy willing to give 5,000 for it and I think I'm gonna let it go to but anther idi or a obs

That's about the 300-400 horsepower range.
Not saying it can't be done with the idi, as it has been done. But it'll cost you.

What? No lol that would only be like 200-300 hp lol bc 400hp will make 800 ft/lbs or torque lol

I seen a '96 dodge cummins at work yesterday and I was talking to the guy and he said he not had the fuel plate taken out and timing bumped up alittle bit and he dyno'd it and came with like 300-some hp and 800-some ft/lbs of torque lol but it was built before he got it at about 600hp and the guy de tuned it lol. Had he's studs and fire ringed.

Cummins usually seems to pump out more torque per hp vs most other diesels.
Guess it's the whole in-line thing.
