Well, little update. Got most of the bad crap cut out, and new stuff welded in. This is all just temporary as I got more plans in my head. The red patch is a panel from my 94, so parts do live on in this truck. And was glad to see the cab mounts solid

Enthused that I found this build thread. I've not started mine yet as the work has not begun. I am still in the planning and "parts-collecting" stage. I am thinking very seriously about air suspension for ride quality, but I'm wanting to do something with it up front as well. I have a 91 CCLB 2wd dually that will be getting 2006 4wd axles. However, I'm thinking I want to keep the ride height close to the 2wd level if possible. This is another reason for wanting the air suspension--so I can build the suspension to the appropriate ride height and still have the ride quality.

Any updates? Are you swapping to another front clip?^^^^^^^
