Time to get in gear. I got the new bearing retainer in.

And then promptly broke it too. [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]
Okay, it's got to be operator error. What am I doing wrong. So I screw with the pieces and realize there is no way in hell it can work the way I was trying to put it together. Flip the bearing over and ding! It all fits. So stupid tax paid...again... and another new one is on the way.
In the mean time I've almost got my coolant filter mount/water manifold done. It will serve dual duty and be the water plumbing for the turbo.

Still deciding on plumbing but I think I'll run hard lines to the filter housing which will have nice little shutoff valves in it once I find them in my pile of stuff again. The housing bolts through the manifold which will plumb the turbo in series with the heater core and the filter in parallel (bypass). Basically you split the heater hoses in the middle to install it. I'll mount it off the fuel filter bracket. Trying to decide if I'll paint it or anodize it. Not sure yet.
So hopefully tomorrow I'll get the floor scuffed and primed ready for bed liner. Fingers crossed.
