Maybe. I can take my spare idi regulator apart and take pictures with measurements. It's used though. The 6.0 one looks like the spring it's a smaller diameter....

Stole this from OLDBULL8 after 30 minutes of searching for part numbers

E3TZ-6A636-H Oil Cooler Gasket Forward head
E3TZ-6A636-G Oil Cooler Gasket Rear head
Oil Cooler thicker ring 1804414C1
Oil Cooler thinner ring 1807563C1
Your in Canada, but if there is an International truck dealer there the second two numbers are IH parts, first two are Ford. Autozone here carries the gaskets. Check NAPA in Canada.

I took apart the spare broken header I had to measure the spring:
1.472" free length
.470" compressed length
0.414" outside diameter
0.041" wire diameter
And a crude, unscientific test using digital calipers and a kitchen scale gave and approximate rate of 10lbs./in

Plugging the measurements into mcmaster-carr came up with the closest being part number 9434K89 which happens to have a rate of 10.5lbs./in.

I ordered a 5 pack of them and will see if they work.

I found out years ago my springs were well worn. the sliding action wears off the sides so now they have much less spring pressure available. No amount of "string stretching" will change the rate either. You MUST replace the spring and as you see.. It costs nearly 500 bucks for the spring.. the rear header is thrown in for free when you buy the spring....:angel::rolleyes:;Really:D ( years ago I paid less than 200 bucks for a new rear header. I got lucky. I then shimmed up the spring 80 thousands with stainless steel washers I ground the outside rim to fit the valve. It was lots o work but well worth it. Be careful trying this. Last thing to want to do is increase the oil pressure so much that the rear header bypass stays open. We have the bypass because dirty oil is far better than no oil....

Well i got an email at 5:45PM that they were unable to fine the part requested and they canceled my order. No phone call just an email of cancelation. I looked at the part numbers on the oil cooler i pulled from the 94 and they were the same numbers at the international ones though, not Ford numbers

Just to confirm, those are IH/Navistar Part Numbers. I recognize that format from some of my other IH interests.....

IH/Navistar has used a:

IH-123456-R01
or
1805874-C1

Ford Part Numbers a normally:

E3TZ-6A636-G

So Ford might not be able to find that number, as I am sure they had a "Ford" part number for it also, but I would contact an International dealer and see if the parts counter can find one with that part number....

There are times you will find when you buy a part for any of the Navistar built products that are in a Ford, from a Ford Dealer, when you open the Ford Blue Box, you will find the original International packaging with the part in it. Exact same part you would get from the International parts counter, but with a higher price......... I've bought parts for my 6.0 from the International parts counter, I have a Ford/IH cross reference chart, because the IH part costs a lot less than IH part in a Ford box does.....

It seems to depend on the part. For my hpop gasket ford quoted $18, IH was $40 something. Lol

STOP putting that Lucas Oil thickner in your engine. That damn stuff is for Performance engines where the engine gets torn down after a RUN. It's not good for your bearings. They use it for 10,000 RPM engines (Gassers/Nitro). The combustion pressure load on the rod bearings on our diesel engine is probably ten times the load of a Gas engine. That ***** can score your rod bearings. It's been known, that if you want to sell a vehicle with low oil pressure, dumps some Lucas in it.

Edit: You more than likely had the oil pump pickup tube off when overhauling, did you put that back on properly? The oil on the dip stick will look foamy after a run.

If you bought a vehicle and after the first oil change you find out you don't have much oil pressure, you'd like to grab the seller by the dingel berries and squeeze real tight.

I didn't take the tube off. The pump/tube came off and went back on as one assembly.

Anything I'm missing? Should I just pull the cooler and try replacing the regulator with the one from the broken cooler end?

Just remember, the oil pressure is measured after the oil cooler and oil filter. A partially plugged oil cooler won't pass the volume that increases the pressure.
