What year is your truck? My 93, you have to take the batteries out and there are 10mm nuts that hold headlight housing to truck, remove these nuts (can't remember if there are 3 or 4 on each side) and the whole assembly pulls out the front.

Are you changing the housing or are you just needing to change the bulb? You do not have to pull the housing to change the bulbs. Hope this helps.

This is why I've been procrastinating on my lower corner bulbs, I don't want to take the whole assembly out.

It's a pain, and there is one particular stud that will drive you crazy trying to find it. You will have to remove the batteries, and possibly the battery trays to see things properly. I went through this on the Night Moose, but forget the exact nuance of what is involved, but I think it is in the neighborhood of the turn signal portion of the lense.
