Most of my driving is going to be in town driving and a little bit of highway (@60Mph) and at this point no towing, still thinking 4.10 with 35" tires would be good unless anyone think 3.73 would be better.
2000 rpm is nice as a cruising rpm. Good torque and not loud. Good for mpg. On mine I went 4:88 and a gear vendor on 35" tires. I would say that is idi nirvana for a hard working truck in a very hilly area. That said when I drive comparable trucks like my dads with 3:55 it's easier to drive and feels faster without all the shifting. For your purposes I'd go higher than 4:10. 3.55 or 3.73 whichever is cheaper or easier with what you have
