New member a few questions Flex plates

I was wondering if any of you had an idea on what would cause my flex plate to keep sheering. I replaced it just a year ago when it sheered and it has done it again. Maybe by getting a thicker than stock plate that it might hold up better but i'm not too familiar with these auto transmissions. if you have any ideas or fixes that would be great. Thanks Lee

the dodge diesel's are known to break those plates, there is heavy duty one's available aftermarket. you could check and make sure the dowels are there. If your truck is producing a lot of horsepower you will break the stock plates a lot.
