another thing about this set up, is that you must clock it right.
if not the drag link will bind on the tie rod.
and with the TRE's it can move.
it would be nice to get different TRE's that are not offset.
it would move the entire tie rod back an inch which would help.

i have not looked into getting different TRE's but i suspect if i have another issue, i will be going with regular rod ends.
and delete the regular ends altogether

so close, yet so far away.

i got both battery trays done, painted, and installed.
both batterys hooked up and the electrical cleaned up.
went to go fire it off, and im dropping power to the IP while cranking.
the glow plug module wire does not.
got a splitting headache and im done for today.
batteries too dead to dry again today, ill let it charge overnight and get out there tomorrow.
worked on the new dent for a bit but didnt get far.

Did you put a shield in front of the frame mounted battery? Wouldn't want a rock making an 'inspection window' in your battery! [emoji12]

after a couple of weeks of messing with this damn truck.
I finally got the water in the oil problem cured.
I think im ready to finally get this thing dialed.

took a 50 mile trip in it today, ran it hard.
I have a new heater core I should have installed when I had the HVAC apart.
oah well.

new front end and rear end seals to replace.

and a bed to do!!!

back in the saddle!
now that I have a good running truck,
ill be finishing all of the check list items off!
goal is to have this ready for travel by December.

just picked up anther parts truck for this.
gonna be a chore, but this is the way ive always wanted to go!
got 3 other little projects to do first, but I expect to be getting on this very shortly!

so here is the parts truck!

craigslisters fighting over bronco parts LOL
this morning, if he doesn't flake, someones coming over to buy the rims tires and exhaust.
for double the price I paid for it!
a buddy is taking the frame, engine, trans and axles.
soon as that happens, ill be building this bed.
cant wait! ive been driving it around with a POS bed for a while now.

if anyone has a tailgate, let me know!
the one I have is jacked.

lol, the only thing that's brick nose is 3/4 of the fenders and 1/2 the hood lol
