cheaper to keep her!!!

did an oil change,
oil was black black, but the good news was there were no metal shavings on the magnetic drain plug!;Sweet
the noise i was hearing on the pass side seemd to be a combination of things.
the alignment guy isnt very knowledgeable with after market steering, he had it adjusted down a little further than it should have
resulted in tie rod to drag link contact.
tyweeked it, and its all good now i think.

also the passenger side fenderwell was rubbing on the front body mount,
a quick zip of the cut off wheel and done.
gonna change the water, and then add coolant.

charging issue? LOL
i need to learn to tighten ****.
the alt + cabkle has been arc'n on the post since i started it up lol

back to the drawing board.
was finally able to throw it some R's
its got a vibration on the top end.
thinking the fly wheel is a turbo flywheel.
trans is coming out.
replace flywheel.
and re-check
cant drive it now until i get this cured :(

still got a noise in the pass front end.
sounds like a sheet metal noise.

charging issue has been cured.

in the process of fixing the bed too!

ive driven this truck around very minimal.
i found the cause of the noise, i believe
m,y inner fenders were not bolted to the frame.
bed pieces at the blasters.
flywheel being machined,
flywheel and bed pieces should be done today.
truck is on hold for the next week while my son preps his truck for paint before he has to go back to school.
a new clutch for his ride too.

other than the vibration the truck is solid!
i still have not timed it, or adjusted wastegate.
my mechanical oil pressure gauge still has not came in.

but on a lighter note, 10 days and i will be soaking up some rays in Cabo San Lucas!

My daughter just got back last Sundy from Cabo. She went with a few close girlfriends and had plenty o fun. Parasailing.. Swimming with dolphins. Eating and drinking. The usually fun stuff...
Glad you found the noise and have fixed it too. Nothing drives me crazier than a noise I can't find...

When are you taking orders? Hee hee. I still think fondly back to when you had a wall between you and the 3rd row.
Kids are loud! :(

spending some quality time on her this morning. and ill be damn if I have several lifters bleeding down.
this is causing some unsetteling valve train noise.
thought it was an adjustment, however 2 valves of different type on 2 different cylinders are soft.
ill be doing a lifter swap soon as I get some in.
I tightened it up a bit, but well see how it goes.

also bolted the inner fenders to the frame rails, something ive been meaning to do for a bit.

have a fulls day work ahead of me, hope I can get some progress done.
