On another forum, dude said the directions with his new pump said to do all bleeding with engine off.
Hadn't heard of that before.
Someone suggested he disable starting and just crank it.
:dunno: I've always just started it. Even on a hydroboost system.

Thanks to my super duper pooper scooper
Teenager, and his ability to completely destroy everything in his path with a ********* Jack handle.
I got to not only spray a cab corner, I got to respray a door!
I was just full of joy!
Wait till this Lill fn brat has a nice fresh painted truck, I'm gonna scribe his name into it.
Respray is done, but now I can't work on the truck!

I love working on 22Rs. Just about the easiest and most enjoyable setup to play with. I see ARB compressor and solenoids too. Nice setup!

turns out its my paranoia
its not leaking.
just took it for a trip around the block.
holds steady at 190*
exhaust getting into the cab, *** ill check up and down pipes after she cools.

have some other things to work on.
tail shaft is leaking, didnt replace the seal.
and since i decided to not replace the damn front end seals, they leak...
lesson learned.

she dont have much power. thinking maybe retime it, and adjust the rockers one final time.
but... the check off list is getting shorter and shorter by the minute!

time to work on the tail lights and let her cool down

tail lights done.
i only have 3 psi.
i suspect leaky up pipe.
im done for the night.
drove her around a bit with trailer lights until i finish the bed this weekend.

need to change tail shaft seal asap, but im good to go for an alignment tomorrow.
when she sits, after driving it at temperature (195ish) she will spike to 210, but will cool down as soon as i start it,
i only have water in it right now, no coolant. wanted to give it a flush before putting coolant in it.

im smelling either brakes or clutch, i think the bias is not set right, and its keeping the rear disc brakes locked up a tad,
all good just things for the list.

overall, so far so good!
its nice to be driving my IDI again;Sweet

everywhere i stop theres that old man that wants to take a gander at it...
its a head turner for sure!
time to get some double limo tint on the badboy!@!

up pipe casting was leaking like a dog!
these Russ up pipes are tighter than a (use your imagination)
i think i may have it now,
had to pull off the up pipe casting to the turbo and loosen the exhaust manifold.

think my hat being loose would aid in the no boost situation???:backoff
