7.3 idi return cap question

My #8 injector return cap is leaking is it normal to be able to wiggle it ? All of them feel a little loose ... any advise is appreciated

Yes, the caps cand spin on the injector. When the hose is hooked up though, they can't move much. Go to this thread that is running right now and you gain further knowledge of the return system. http://www.oilburners.net/forums/showthread.php?66483-Had-it-with-the-return
The caps should not be distrubed after they have been through an engine heat cycle as the orings under the cap tend to take "set" after getting heated up and cooled down. Then when the cap gets disturbed they start to leak and you have replace the orings again.
