EZ, early 6.9's had a 6 ring cooler. Unforatunately, 4 of the 6 o-rings are no longer available. 85 and later (IIRC), use the 4 ring cooler common to both engines. So, the answer is yes they are interchangable, but you don't want to use a 6 ring cooler.

As Mel stated above. They are the same thing but there are a few differances. The rear headers are differant between the trucks and van application. Also I think the van bundles are about 1/4 inch longer. Then there is the turbo bundle that has more fins as compared to the non turbo model. Someone else may chime in with other information. The powerstroke oil cooler will not fit in any way. Been there....

thank You guys, there is one on ebay and since I found how much is for a new header I will bid on it, but I don't think the guy knows what year is it, he only posted this two part # 1805847C1 and 1805846C1 for the headers.
