Oil cooler o rings.

Have been doing many oil coolers on the idi pickups as well as 7.3 powertroke trucks lately. The last several I used permatex tune up dielectric grease on the o rings for lube. I have used many different things over the years, but for what ever reason this stuff is by far the best I have used.

They just go together much easier, even with some slight misalignment.

I have used other brands of dielectric grease, but this stuff is just a little different. Seems thicker, stickier...

Thanks for posting your good results. Always great to have another product that works good.
Those Coolers are choir to get together even when things are going right.

When I did the Cooler on the 86 a few years, I used Syl-Glide.
Maybe you tried that one also?

I see this one listed also, says for weather strip etc... maybe this is the one I have. Maybe the same stuff?
