Awesome the way your able to but parts/doors together and retain a factory look.

The crew cap I used for my const biz worked great after hours shuttling kids to the ice rink for hockey practice/games.

kids man, I have too many kids for 2 dr vehicles lol

i fully respect and admire your defiance towards the minivan.;Sweet growing up with 2 other siblings,we were far too poor for such things.2 doors it was.tilt the seat forward and us 3 kids would hop in and never knew there was an issue lol.

oh man, your bringing back memories now.as for the pickup truck, dad would just let the tailgate down and up we went.we didn't have the seatbelt......'err "seat" at all laws back then lmao.seeing a family with their kids ridding on the bed of a pickup was just common place,as no doubt (we're about the same age) you remember too.....though who knows, perhaps Cali was always wound up too tight for that i dunno.

Sorry I hadn't kept up with this. Body lines look pretty darn good. So now that you have done a couple, have you got a feel for the man hours and cost to build one of these Monstrosities? I saw earlier you said you were keeping track.

right now im at 65 hours and 700$
just bought another set of rear doors. 100/pop

this is without the purchase of the 2 trucks.
so if you add in the parts truck, its 1700.
were gonna stick with the big number, because I did use most of the parts truck.
65 hours is with tearing the parts truck apart, stripping the truck to be extended.
and swapping cabs.
just to do the 6 door conversion, with both trucks stripped, im going to estimate that I have 24 hours into just the body mod.
but this does not account for the roof, the floor, none of the actual body work, altho all body work is limited to the roof.

I was going to do some work on the ranchero while I have it in the shop, but my farmer frank stole all of my project funds.
but I have another serp system coming!
and with the incomplete kit I already have, makes it 2 systems!

I may still install the IDI and the T-19 into the MANchero.
I can still do body mounts also.
if I get these items done, finishing it wont be too hard.
I need a complete steering system....
we shall see where that project goes.
my goal for the end of the month on the super duty is to have the engine and trans in by the end of the month.
and hope to have the roof and floor done.
all depends where my ADHD takes me :D

there are a few people that want me to do this to their trucks.
so im using this as an estimate.
altho the people that want me to convert theirs, balk at the 6k price tag. cheap skates!
that's the absolute minimum I can do something like this. so if they *****, their stuck driving their little 4 door LOL

the price is 100/man-hr labor rate.

Good luck finding anyone to stretch a truck for 6k and not do a hack job on it. That's not terrible.

Your 6K price it totally reasonable. I could do it for less using my arc welder (on sheetmetal?) and impact gun. No body work. :D
